<p>The customer approached Altoros with a challenge to enhance their biotechnology system designed for analyzing DNA samples to detect mutations in the initial phases. The existing tool, constrained by memory and CPU, could only de-duplicate up to 1,000 samples, leading to lengthy processing times spanning hours or even days. The primary objective was to address performance issues and facilitate linear scalability to efficiently handle over 10,000 biosamples concurrently.</p>
