Chain is a web based platform that connect restaurants and suppliers together. The restaurants can create their shopping list on the platform for the items that they frequently buys and can place orders directly. On the other hand, the suppliers can list their products with details like pricing, quantity. At the time of ordering, the restaurants will be able to see the comparison of the product rates from different suppliers. The application will also suggest the restaurants the best rate of a particular type of product to make it easy for them while ordering. In the reports, the restaurants can see how much they saved on a particular order and how much they lose when they didn't buy the products suggested by the application.

Backend Technology:
The backend of the application is built using *Laravel*, a robust PHP framework that follows the MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture pattern.

Frontend
We are utilizing *Laravel Blade* as the templating engine for dynamic frontend rendering. The current version in use is *Laravel 9.0* and PHP "8.1".

Database:
The application relies on *MySQL* as the relational database management system (RDBMS) to store and manage data.

API Integrations: We have integrated third-party APIs to facilitate business operations. These include: - *QuickBooks* for accounting and financial management. - *Sage* for enterprise resource planning (ERP) and financial software. - *Xero* for cloud-based accounting services.

Payment Gateway: For processing payments securely, we are utilizing *GoCardless*, a payment gateway that specializes in managing direct debits and recurring payments. This integration ensures smooth and reliable transaction handling.

Email Gateway:
For email communication, we have integrated with *SendinBlue*, a comprehensive email marketing and automation platform.

Hosting: The application is hosted on a *CloudWays* infrastructure, ensuring scalability, redundancy, and high availability.
